Taylor Houser
certified nurse-Midwife, doctor of nursing practice.
Taylor Houser has been serving women and babies since the beginning of her professional career over eight years ago after receiving her bachelor of science in nursing from Baylor University in 2012. Upon completion of her undergraduate degree, she served as an RN in the neonatal intensive care unit, where she gained valuable experience in caring for the most fragile of patients. After one year, she recognized her true calling and began working as a labor and delivery nurse. In her time as a labor nurse, Taylor developed a true passion for the midwifery model of care. Subsequently, she received her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Baylor University and became a Certified Nurse Midwife in 2018.
Taylor believes that every woman deserves choices when it comes to her healthcare and envisions an environment in which women feel supported by their healthcare team. Taylor strives to provide individualized, holistic care to women and their families and really enjoys building strong relationships with clients. Taylor has been married to her husband, Matt, for six years. They welcomed their daughter, Elliott, in the fall of 2020, who was born straight into the hands of her Grammie (midwife Carla!). Together, they enjoy traveling, attending various sporting events, and spending time with family and friends.
