Robin Davis

CERTIFIED NURSE MIDWIFE, MASTER OF SCIENCE IN NURSING

Robin Davis has dedicated her career to women’s health since earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1998. Even before graduating, Robin knew that women’s services were where her heart belonged. She began her nursing career on a high-risk antepartum unit, where she spent two years caring for complex pregnancies before transitioning to Labor and Delivery.

While working in Labor and Delivery, Robin had the opportunity to collaborate closely with midwives whose compassionate, hands-on approach to care inspired her to pursue midwifery. She went on to earn her Master of Science in Midwifery from the University of Cincinnati in 2012 and began her career as a Certified Nurse-Midwife at Parkland Hospital, where she attended nearly 1,000 births.

Throughout her career, Robin has had the privilege of caring for women across the lifespan and supporting families in both hospital and out-of-hospital birth settings. She is passionate about teaching, empowering women through education, and supporting informed decision-making throughout their health journeys.

Robin has been married to her husband, Ron, for 25 years, and together they have two children. Outside of work, she enjoys cheering on her kids at sporting events, relaxing by the pool with a good book, and spending time at the beach.
