Claire Duncan

CERTIFIED NURSE MIDWIFE, MASTER OF SCIENCE IN NURSING

Mary Claire Duncan, known to most as Claire, is a Certified Nurse-Midwife at Midwife+Co in Fort Worth. Claire earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington and her Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration in Nurse-Midwifery from Frontier Nursing University.

Her connection to our company is especially meaningful: she welcomed her first child at The Fort Worth Birthing & Wellness Center before returning as a nurse-midwifery student. After several years of growing her clinical experience, she is delighted to return to the community where her own journey into motherhood began.

Before becoming a midwife, Claire worked as a labor and delivery registered nurse at Texas Health HEB, where she developed a strong foundation in supporting women and families throughout childbirth. She later practiced as a Certified Nurse-Midwife at Ascension Seton Medical Center in Austin, providing comprehensive care during pregnancy, labor, birth, and postpartum recovery.

Claire is passionate about providing individualized, evidence-based care that honors each patient's unique needs, preferences, and experiences. She values education, meaningful relationships, and helping women feel informed and confident in their healthcare decisions.

Outside of work, Claire enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, being outdoors, exercising, playing board games, exploring new foods, and gathering with friends. Her faith is central to her life, and she looks forward to building lasting connections with the families she serves.
