Anna Nellikappallil

CERTIFIED NURSE MIDWIFE, MASTER OF SCIENCE IN NURSING

Anna Nellikappallil, a native Texan, has lived throughout the state. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from West Texas A&M University. After five years as an inpatient women’s health and newborn nurse, where she collaborated closely with Certified Nurse-Midwives (CNMs), Anna discovered her passion for midwifery care. This led her to pursue further education, graduating with a Master of Science in Midwifery from Frontier Nursing University in January 2017.

Anna began her career as a CNM in an academic center in El Paso, practicing full-scope midwifery for five years. In the summer of 2022, she relocated to Fort Worth and started with the Fort Worth Birthing Center, initially conducting postpartum and newborn home visits. By June 2023, she had joined the practice as a full-scope Nurse-Midwife. Anna is dedicated to providing care that empowers women and families, tailoring her approach to meet each family’s unique needs. She is excited to serve families at Midwife + Co. in both hospital and birth center settings.

Anna is also a mother to two beautiful children, Eliyanah and Luke. In her spare time, she enjoys being with family and friends, spending time outdoors, hiking, and watching movies.
